Pensacola Habitat for Humanity is celebrating 30 years of providing homes to low-income families. A volunteer appreciation dinner was held in the new 100-home subdivision of Camshire Meadows, expected to be completed later this year
Habitat for Humanity Milton ReStore will combine with the Pensacola ReStore located at 5810 N. Palafox Street in Pensacola. All shopper and donor services will be managed through the Pensacola ReStore location beginning September 30, 2013.
Mark Rakke donated the tiles to the new Habitat for Humanity ReStore outlet in St. Cloud, Minn., that sells donated building materials, furniture and other items to help support its mission of building and renovating homes for low-income people.
"I think it's a great idea," he says. "I'm glad it's going to a good cause and it gets recycled rather than getting thrown away."
